HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL
“Lest we Forget” is the theme of the Holocaust Memorial, which will be
held 8 p.m. Friday at Temple Isaiah, 2401 Irvine Ave., Newport Beach. In
addition to special prayers remembering Holocaust victims and survivors,
an eternal light will be presented by Harbor Christian Church, whose

WALK FOR ISRAEL
The Jewish National Fund of Costa Mesa will host a Walk for Israel, a
5K run and walk, at 9 a.m. April 29 at UC Irvine, Pereira Drive, near

FRACTURED FAIRY TALES

A COOKING DEMONSTRATION
The Sisterhood of Temple Bat Yahm will host a cooking demonstration

DINNER PARTY
A “rotational” dinner party for Catholic Singles in Orange County will

MEDITATION LESSONS
A “lectio divina” meditation group meeting is held at 7:15 a.m.

Beach. Lectio is a style of meditation that includes using Scripture or a
