Boys swimming: Sea Kings prevail over Northwood

CORONA DEL MAR - The Corona del Mar High boys swim team improved to

4-1 with a 103-64 Pacific Coast League win over visiting Northwood on

Wednesday.

Sherwin Kim and Matt Myer each posted double wins for the Sea Kings.

Kim won the 200-yard individual medley (2:07.54) as well as the 100

freestyle (50.14), while Myer touched first in the 200 free (1:52.86) and

500 free (5:13.50).

Other individual winners for CdM included Marcelo Pantuliano (100

breast, 1:08.81) and Chriss Street (50 free, 22.89),

Kim, Pantuliano, Street and Myer teamed up to win the 200 medley relay

with a time of 1:47.48.

Myer also joined Street, Bobby Messinger and John Money to win the 200

free relay (1:36.50).

The 400 free relay team of Kim, Money, Pantuliano and James Strack

placed first with a 3:38.13.

The Sea Kings will swim at the Foothill Swim Games beginning Friday at

3 p.m. at Foothill High.
