Community College Baseball: OCC manages one run in loss

RIVERSIDE - The Orange Coast College baseball team ran into some

tough pitching and the Pirates suffered an 8-1 Orange Empire Conference

loss at Riverside Wednesday.

It was revenge for Riverside as the Tigers, the No. 1 team in Southern

California, took an 8-7 loss to the Pirates when they rallied from a 7-1

deficit on Tuesday.

Coast freshman Jake Garcia hit the only extra-base hit for either

team. The Bucs fell to 16-6 overall and 6-4 in the OEC.
