* Cadillac Avenue: Commercial burglary was reported in the 3500 block

at 7:03 a.m. Wednesday.

* Canyon Drive: Residential burglary was reported in the 2200 block at

5:40 p.m. Wednesday.

* Lenwood Drive: An auto theft was reported in the 400 block at 11:55

a.m. Wednesday.

* Newport Boulevard: An assault was reported in the 1900 block at 1:58

a.m. Wednesday.

* Victoria Street: Forgery was reported in the 300 block a 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* East Coast Highway: Vandals reportedly threw an unknown object

breaking a sign in the 1500 block at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday.

* Golden Circle: Equipment was reported stolen from the front yard of

a home in the 2200 block at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday.

* Marcus Avenue: A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in

the 3300 block at 8:28 a.m. Tuesday.
