Track and field: Youth track championships set for April 6.

NEWPORT BEACH - Youngsters between the ages of 6-15 are invited to compete in the Newport Beach Youth Track and Field Championships, set for

April 6 at Newport Harbor High from 5-10 p.m.

Pre-registration fees are $10 for Newport Beach residents and $13 for

non-residents. To register, obtain a form from the Recreation Activities

link at www.city.newport-beach.ca.us or contact the Newport Beach

Community Services at (949) 644-3151.

Registration will also be held at the event from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Fees

are $15 for residents and $18 for non-residents.

The top four finishers in each event and division will advance to the

Orange County Municipal Athletic Association Tournament on May 6. All

participants will receive a track shirt.
