Community College men’s volleyball: Bucs win again

WALNUT - The Orange Coast College men’s volleyball team remained

undefeated as the Pirates swept past host Mt. San Antonio, 25-20, 25-18,

15-17, Tuesday, in an inter-conference matchup.

Freshman Soren Schneider smacked down 11 kills for the Bucs (13-0, 8-0

in the Orange Empire Conference), while freshman John Campbell finished

with seven. Coast sophomore Nick Ptaschinski served up 27 assists and

sophomore Kevin Goff had eight digs.

The Mounties fell to 3-8 and 1-7 in the South Coast Conference.

The Pirates will host undefeated L.A. Pierce, the defending state

champion, Friday at 7 p.m., in another inter-conference matchup.
