Teacher, students honored for special effects
David Scaglione, a longtime Orange Coast College technical theater
coordinator, and his students were recently honored by the City of Orange
for their participation in the city’s anti-drunk driving program for
teenagers titled “Every 15 Minutes.”
The program is a two-day event dramatizing the effects of drunk
driving. Scaglione and his students helped make the presentation seem
real by donating their time to apply theatrical makeup on 20 “victims”
involved in mock accidents.
