* Anson River Circle: Police responded to a panic alarm which went off
in the 9000 block at 10:39 p.m. Feb. 14.
* Brookhurst Street: A battery was reported in the 17000 at 1:56 a.m.
Saturday.
* Brookhurst Street: A vandalism occurred in the 18000 block at 5:48
a.m. Tuesday.
* Edinger Avenue and Euclid Street: Police were called to the 10000
block when residents complained of a motor scooter disturbance at 1 a.m.
Saturday.
* Helena Circle: A juvenile disturbance occurred in the 16000 block at
2:22 p.m. Sunday.
* Janaca Circle: A noninjury hit-and-run occurred in the 10000 block
at 5:01 p.m. Friday.
* Lola River Avenue: Residents reported a disturbance of the peace in
the 12000 block at 5:36 p.m. Friday.
* Morro Circle: Police responded to reports of a loud party in the
10000 block at 1:34 a.m. Monday.
* Redwood Circle: A prowler was reported in the 18000 block at 4:29
a.m. Feb. 15.
* Robson Court: Police responded to a petty theft which was reported
in the 15000 block at 4:12 p.m. Saturday.
* San Pablo Court: An auto tampering was reported in the 10000 block
at 9:26 a.m. Monday.
* Slater Avenue: Residents in the 10000 block complained about
skateboarder disturbances at 4:21 p.m. Feb. 15.
* Warner Avenue: Police were called to the 9000 block in response to a
vehicle burglary at 10:02 a.m. Feb. 15.
* Warner Avenue: Police were called in response to a forgery in the
9000 block at 12:46 a.m. Friday.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Avilla Lane: A book containing detailed instructions on how to build
pipe bombs and other destructive items was confiscated from someone in
the 17000 block at 3:25 p.m. Feb. 15.
* Beach Boulevard: Someone told police that two females between the
ages of 15 and 18 were prostituting themselves for more than an hour in
the 16000 block at 6:24 p.m. Sunday.
* Blackbeard Lane: A resident told police that someone had used
shaving cream to write profanity and gay slogans on his garage and wife’s
car in the 16000 block at 6:17 a.m. Sunday.
* Brookhurst Street: A female resident told police that a man in his
20s, with dark hair and wearing jeans and a net cap, had his pants down
in a vehicle while masturbating and driving in the 21000 block at 7:28
a.m. Feb. 12.
* Cabot Circle: A resident reported seeing a man dressed in black walk
up a personal driveway before being scared off by a barking dog in the
15000 block at 8:57 p.m. Feb. 14.
* Coast Circle: Police received a grand theft report where a $12,000
watch was taken from a residence in the 2800 block at 8:18 a.m. Feb. 13.
* Flintstone Lane: Four male juveniles were reportedly trespassing on
the roof of a school and throwing unknown items off, in the 17000 block
at 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
* Harding Lane: Police responded to a family disturbance reported at a
residence in the 19000 block at 11:22 p.m. Feb. 12.
* Ranger Lane: An umbrella, valued at $125, was reported stolen from a
home in the 19000 block at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 13.
* Shorecliff Lane: Police responded to a report of four shots fired
near a neighborhood in the 19000 block at 8:34 p.m. Friday.
* Strathmoor Lane: A motorist driving a red truck was reported for
reckless driving, after a residents watched it careen through a school
front field into a housing tract in the 21000 block at 5:54 p.m. Friday.
* Tamiko Circle: Two men wearing gray shirts and jeans reportedly
broke into a vehicle while its owner was smoking in the 17000 block at
3:49 a.m. Feb. 14.
* Vineland Drive: Someone reportedly left threatening messages on a
resident’s pager voicemail and made several hang-up phone calls to a home
in the 5000 block at 1:04 p.m. Feb. 15.
* Yale Circle: A body was found dead of natural causes at a residence
in the 6000 block at 12:23 p.m. Feb. 14.
