More than 225 Orange County high school students will participate in
Orange Coast College’s 17th annual High School Dance Day on March 7.
Designed to encourage high school students to consider further study
in the field of dance, activities will run from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Each student will participate in four classes, which are taught by
faculty members of the college’s dance department. Dance styles include
flamenco, modern, ballet, tap, jazz, street dance, African and
conditioning for dance.
Following the class sessions, OCC dance students will demonstrate
short choreographic studies they are preparing for their classes.
