Men’s basketball: OCC loses fourth straight

CYPRESS - The Orange Coast College men’s basketball team lost its
fourth straight Orange Empire Conference game with a 96-84 decision at
Cypress Wednesday.
Sophomore center Chad Hagedorn led the Pirates (14-10, 5-4 in
conference) with 27 points and Ryan Earl scored 24. Bucs Randy Libistre
(12 points) and Nick Burwell (16) also scored in double figures.
Cypress (11-14, 4-5), however, took advantage of OCC’s lack of
defense, shooting 20 of 38 in the first half for a 53-38 lead.
The Pirates will try to get back in the win column as they host
Fullerton, Friday at 7:30 p.m.
