Orange Coast College is offering a series of six workshops designed to
help the managers of small businesses.
The workshops will be run by the Service Corps of Retired Executives,
which has teamed up with the U.S. Small Business Administration as
resource partners. The group is dedicated to aiding in the growth and
success of small businesses.
The first course, business plan development, will be held Jan. 9
followed on Jan. 23 by a session on marketing and promotion and financing
your business. On Jan. 30, a detailed class on computerized bookkeeping
and financial statements will be offered. In February, the workshop will
teach tactic to make e-commerce successful for small businesses, followed
by the art of selling techniques in March.
The registration fee is $110 for all six classes or $20 each in
advance, $25 at the door. The workshops will be held at National
University, 3390 Harbor Blvd. in Costa Mesa from 9 a.m. to noon.
