Men’s Basketball: Vanguard loses, 96-51

NORTHRIDGE - The Vanguard University men’s basketball team could
not stop the three-point shooting clinic of host Cal State Northridge
Wednesday night.
The Matadors hit 14 of 23 from the behind the arc to defeat Vanguard,
96-51, in nonconference action.
The Lions were led by Kemmy Burgess, who scored 17 points. Ardis Curtis chipped in with nine points for Vanguard.
Northridge center Brian Heinle scored a game-high 25 points, including
three treys.
