* East 17th Street: A car was stolen in the 300 block at 2:41 a.m.

Sunday.

* El Camino Drive: A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 1000

block at 6:45 a.m. Sunday.

* James Street: Vandalism was reported in the 700 block at 12:53 p.m.

Sunday.

* West Wilson Street: A home was burglarized in the 100 block at 4:02

p.m. Sunday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Larkspur Avenue and Bayside Drive: A CD player and CDs were stolen

from a car in a city-metered parking lot at 9:24 p.m. Sunday.

* Newport Center Drive: A purse was stolen from a bar in the 900 block

at 9:01 p.m. Saturday.

* Prospect Street: Patio furniture, a barbecue grill and potted plants

were stolen in the 300 block at 7:58 a.m. Saturday.
