SCHOOL LUNCH MENU

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if

desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot

entree. School lunches are $1.75 each; the district does not accept

checks for less than $17.50. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with Dannon fruit yogurt or chicken gorditas

with lettuce, cheese, salsa and ranch dressing, 100% fruit juice, choice

of milk

WEDNESDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or Oscar Meyer all-beef hot dog on a bun, potato

smiles, fruit, choice of milk

THURSDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or chicken patty on a bun, potato smiles, peach

cup, choice of milk

FRIDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or bean and cheese burrito, baby carrots, 100%

fruit juice, choice of milk

MONDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with Dannon fruit yogurt or pork chop patty with

gravy, apple sauce, harvest fruit bread, choice of milk

* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt, honey-roasted peanuts and dressing.
