HALLOWEEN HAPPENINGS
Callen’s Corner in Fountain Valley will host Halloween
trick-or-treating, a craft workshop and the 12th annual Halloween art
contest Saturday at its shopping center at Brookhurst Street and Ellis
Avenue.
Children can collect candy treats from merchants from noon to 3 p.m.
and create crafted candy sacks from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Learning
Store, 18679 Brookhurst St.Finally, local students will have their art
displayed in the annual art contest. Merchants will judge the displays.

Downtown Halloween celebration set for Tuesday
The ninth annual Main Street Halloween Celebration will be held in
Huntington Beach from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday along the first three
blocks Downtown.
Children of all ages can attend the free event, which will include
trick-or-treating, pony rides, a costume contest and a petting zoo. Last
year, 5,000 attended the event, sponsored by the Huntington Beach
Downtown Business Assn.
