* Brookhurst Street: Police responded to a fight reported in the
17000 block at 12:58 a.m. Friday.
* Clove Court: Police responded to a petty theft in the 9000 block at
10:40 a.m. Saturday.* Clover Court: Police responded to a report of auto
tampering in the 9000 block at 9:22 p.m. Oct. 12.
* Coral Aloe Avenue: Police were called in response to a runaway in
the 11000 block at 5:28 p.m. Oct. 10.
* Euclid Street: An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 17000 block
at 3:22 p.m. Friday.
* Hemlock Street: Police responded to an attempted suicide in the
16000 block at 8:46 a.m. Friday.
* La Hacienda Avenue: Police responded to a loud party in the 10000
block at 11:44 p.m. Saturday.
* La Hacienda Avenue: Police responded to a family dispute in the
10000 block at 9:34 a.m. Saturday.
* Petuna Avenue: Police responded to a vehicle burglary in the 9000
block at 8:13 a.m. Oct. 10.
* Placer River Circle: Police responded to a report of disturbing the
peace in the 10000 block at 6:01 p.m. Oct. 11.
* Newhope Street: Vandalism was reported in the 16000 block at 1:44
p.m. Oct. 12.
* Slater Avenue: A suspicious person was reported in the 10000 block
at 7:05 a.m. Oct. 10.
* Warner Avenue: Loud music was reported in the 11000 block at 11:32
p.m. Saturday.
* Warner Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 1100 block at 9:46
p.m. Oct. 10.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Adams Avenue: A store owner caught a juvenile who had stolen a
bottle of vodka from his shop and joined a larger group of teens, who
then threw cans of soda at him in front of a business in the 10000 block
at 6:45 p.m. Friday.
* Basin Circle: A reckless motorist was reportedly driving up and down
the street, screeching his tires in the 8000 block at 2:25 a.m. Oct. 12.
* Beach Boulevard: A resident told police that someone put liquid
cement into the locks of the front and back doors of a residence in the
16000 block at 11:34 a.m. Oct. 9.
* Beach Boulevard: Two juveniles reportedly stole an unknown number of
compact discs from a business in the 16000 block at 5:36 p.m. Sunday.
* Bolsa Chica Road: Someone told police that a transient broke into a
white moving van and slept in it overnight while it was parked in the
16000 block at 4:51 p.m. Sunday.
* Bolsa Chica Road: Someone reported an undisclosed number of
squatters living in an empty home in the 16000 block at 10:59 a.m. Oct.
10.
* Delaware Street: Someone reported finding an injured possum lying in
some bushes lining the sidewalk of an apartment complex in the 19000
block at 11:17 p.m. Oct. 9.
* Edinger Avenue: An employer called police after catching an employee
stealing $1,700 from his business in the 5000 block at 1:02 p.m. Oct. 11.
* Heil Avenue: Police responded to a family disturbance reported at a
residence in the 7000 block at 1:17 a.m. Saturday.
* Huntington Street: A light brown customized BMX bike, valued at
$250, was reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block at 9:10 p.m.
Oct. 12.
* San Nicolas Circle: A resident made a vandalism report to police
after someone draped his vehicles with yellow crime tape while they were
parked in the 800 block at 11:31 a.m. Saturday.
* Santiago Drive: Someone reported finding a stack of burning
newspapers at his front door, damaging the porch of a house in the 1000
block at 4:09 p.m. Oct. 10.
* Thor Drive: Police responded to a report of shots fired in the back
alley of a residence in the 6000 block at 9:23 p.m. Oct. 9.
* Viewpoint Lane: Police officers received a forgery report in which a
woman’s checks were stolen and cashed in her name for an undisclosed
amount of money.
* Vincent Circle: An employer caught a worker who allegedly stole more
than $3,000 in checks from his business in the 7000 block at 11:57 a.m.

* Sundance Circle: Someone reported a prowler hiding outside her home
window and writing down the license plate number of her car parked in the
6000 block at 9:36 p.m. Friday.
* Warner Avenue: A woman was reported for indecent exposure after she
flashed a number of passing cars in the 4000 block at 5:25 p.m. Friday.
