School menus
The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day
at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if
desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot
entree. School lunches are $1.75 each; the district does not accept
checks for less than $17.50. Here’s what’s being served this week:
TODAY
Munchable Lunch Salad with Dannon fruit yogurt or “State Fair” corn
dog, glazed fruit, choice of 100% fruit juice and choice of milk
WEDNESDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or pepperoni pizza bagel, choice of 100% fruit
juice and choice of milk
THURSDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or baked pork chop with gravy, cheese-bread
stick, Washington state apple and choice of milk
FRIDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or chicken Parmesan sandwich on a bun, baby
carrots with dip, choice of 100% fruit juice and choice of milk
MONDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or French bread pepperoni pizza, choice of juice
and choice of milk
* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,
crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit
yogurt, honey-roasted peanuts and dressing.
