After 12 years in business, the Orangewood Boutique will be closing.
There will be a huge close-out sale beginning Monday with reductions of
40%. The week of Oct. 23, the reductions will increase to 80% off
everything. The Orangewood Boutique has been “the feel-good” store,
manager Barbie Knapp says. It’s been making the difference in the lives
of deserving children, with all proceeds going to the Orangewood
Children’s Foundation for the Orangewood Children’s Home. The boutique is

If your kids could use a lesson in table manners, the premier experts
in etiquette, Addington Academy, offers dining etiquette classes for
children 8 to 12 at the Balboa Bay Club. Susan Werner and Andrea
Addington Oliver will conduct their well-known classes with a focus on
dining. Children will learn proper etiquette concerning silverware, china
and crystal, difficult to eat foods, as well as thank-you notes, magical
words, introductions and phrases, sharing and much more during the fun
and informative course. The classes are offered from 4 to 5 p.m.

Three new stores have recently opened at South Coast Plaza. Les
Interieurs -- the newest store by Dan Marty, owner of Les Interieurs and
Urban Gardener in Newport Beach -- is in the west wing of South Coast
Plaza, next to Diedrich’s Coffee. This store is filled with antiques,
vintage fabrics, plants, flowers and home furnishings from Europe. The
store receives new merchandise frequently. Ice Accessories is a store
that’s filled with handbags, scarves, shawls, hair goods, fashion and
bridge jewelry created by leading designers. Ice Accessories customers
include some of Hollywood’s biggest names, such as Goldie Hawn, Billy
Crystal and Meg Ryan. Ice Accessories is on the second level of Carousel
Court. Agnes B. ladies fashions has the designer’s latest winter
collection, and five films by Agnes screen daily. The original Agnes B.

The Fall Faire and Pumpkin Patch is a fun family event that will take

Mar says there has been a major donation of furs and leather jackets that
are now available for sale. There are also bolts of warm flannel from a
baby clothes designer. Also available are bright, exciting pictures and
cells from well-known Disney artists. The American Cancer Discovery Shop
sells a little bit of everything, from clothing to furniture and
