Boys water polo: Eagles fall to Laguna Beach
LAGUNA BEACH - The first half set the table for the Estancia High
boys water polo team and the result wasn’t pretty.
The Eagles lost to host Laguna Beach, 18-3, Wednesday, in Pacific
Coast League action.
Laguna Beach, ranked No. 4 in CIF Southern Section Division II, jumped
out to a 13-2 lead in the first half and cruised from there.
Senior Phil Westfall scored two goals, while fellow senior D.J. Glacy
added one goal for the Eagles 6-3, 1-1 in league). Senior Dan Wotta had
six saves.
The Eagles will host the Estancia Tournament on Monday and will go up
against Saddleback, beginning at 3 p.m.
