Girls tennis: Sailors take down Aliso

NEWPORT BEACH - Behind the doubles play of Erika Buder and Krista

McIntosh, the host Newport Harbor girls tennis team earned an 11-7 Sea

View League victory over Aliso Niguel Thursday.

Buder and McIntosh swept their foes, 7-5, 6-2, 6-1. And in singles,

Kelly Nelson, Megan Hawkins and Vanessa Dunlap won two of three sets.

The Sailors improved to 3-1 in league and 8-4 overall.

Doubles: C. Khoury-D. Khoury (NH) lost to Gentry-Ondryas, 3-6, lost to

Johnson-Devendoff, 1-6, def. Heineman-Knopf, 6-4; Buder-McIntosh (NH)

won, 7-5, 6-2, 6-1; Olson-Adams (NH) won, 7-5, lost, 4-6, 3-6.
