SCHOOL LUNCH MENU
The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers three menu choices
each day at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree.
The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot entree.
School lunches are $1.75 each; the district does not accept checks for
less than $17.50. Here’s what’s being served this week:
TODAY
Munchable Lunch Salad with Dannon fruit yogurt or turkey dippers with
low-fat ranch dressing, choice of fruit, choice of milk
WEDNESDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or chicken gorditas with lettuce, cheese and
low-fat ranch dressing; choice of 100% fruit juice; choice of milk
THURSDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or rib-b-que sandwich with barbecue sauce,
oven-baked potatoes, choice of 100% fruit juice, choice of milk
FRIDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or hot dog on a bun, potato smiles, choice of
100% fruit juice, choice of milk
MONDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or Dannon blended yogurt, fresh-baked roll,
veggie sticks, choice of 100% fruit juice, choice of milk
* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,
crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit
yogurt, honey-roasted peanuts and dressing.
