* West Baker Street: Commercial burglary was reported in the 700 block

at 9:37 a.m. Monday.

* Newport Boulevard: A robbery was reported in the 2200 block at 12:30

a.m. Monday.

* East 18th Street: Possession of drugs was reported in the 100 block

at 1:37 a.m. Monday.

* West 16th Street: An assault was reported in the 700 block at 10:41

a.m. Monday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Burning Tree Road: Vandals entered a home under construction and

spray-painted on several items in the 1 block at 8:59 a.m. Monday.

* Ima Loa Court: A burglar removed the face of a car stereo and took

paperwork from a car in the 1 block at 10 a.m. Monday.

* Newport Center Drive: Burglars entered Panda Express restaurant and

stole about $600 from the cash register at 11:13 a.m. Monday.
