The Planning Center in Costa Mesa is celebrating its 25th anniversary
this month. The firm specializes in governmental services, planning and
urban design, environmental studies and landscape architecture.
Founding partner and longtime professional planner Richard Ramella
opened the Planning Center’s first office in September 1975 in Newport
Beach.
The company has worked on projects for clients such as Newland
Communities, Tejon Ranch, The Newhall Land & Farming Co., various school
districts and the cities of Anaheim, Buena Park, Industry and Los
Angeles.
The Planning Center is currently involved with the Riverside County
Integrated Plan project and the city of San Buenaventura’s comprehensive
plan update.
