Girls tennis: Costa Mesa falls to Foothill

COSTA MESA - The Costa Mesa High girls tennis team lost to visiting
Foothill, 12-6, Tuesday afternoon in nonleague action.
Hilary Havens was solid at No. 1 singles for the Mustangs, winning all
three sets, 7-6 (8-6 in the tiebreaker), 6-2, 6-1, while Misa Lee won two
of her three sets.
The Mustangs host El Modena today at 3 p.m.

Foothill 12, Costa Mesa 6 Singles - Havens (CM) def. Ragad, 7-6 (8-6), def. Colgrove, 6-2, def.
Harris, 6-1; Lee (CM) lost, 2-6, won, 6-4, 6-1; S. Kim (CM) lost, 1-6,
1-6, 6-3.
Doubles - Doan-Vu (CM) lost to Hardy-Cruikshank, 1-6, lost to
Hughes-Farney, 1-6, lost to Werosophon-Wang, 0-6; H. Nguyen-Pham (CM)
lost, 2-6, 0-6, 5-7; P. Nguyen-Peng (CM) lost, 2-6, 0-6, 1-6.
