Wing Nuts down Blackhawks, 12-3

The Wing Nuts opened the new Adams Division season Thursday with a
resounding 12-3 victory over the Blackhawks in action at Coast 2 Coast
Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
Blake Cooper led the Wing Nuts’ scoring onslaught with a career high
seven goals, and Cooper also assisted his team’s first score, a goal by
Ian Arnold.
It was the first of three goals in the game for Arnold.
Cameron Gurzi also scored twice with an assist, and Austin Clifford
picked up an assist for the Wing Nuts.
Connor Culhane scored twice with an assist and Chad Carpenter had a
goal and assist for the Blackhawks.

Hurricanes 2, Panthers 0
Quinn Piper and Trevor Jackson both scored, Zachary Nesbitt had an
assist, and goalie Sean O’Connell got the shutout by posting 13 saves.
Panthers goalie Katie Goode stopped 19 shot attempts.
Ice Pups 1, Puck Hogs 1
Nicole Marsey’s unassisted goal in the final period gave the Ice Pups
the tie.
Niko Bosi scored in the second quarter for the Puck Hogs.
