The Bolsa Chica Conservancy is initiating two bird watching teams to
gain data. Volunteers are needed to assist with two bird-counting tasks:
a twice-a-month bird count at low tide in the Outer Bay of Bolsa Chica by
the Warner Avenue Bridge, and a twice-a-month walk of the beach to
monitor the snowy plovers on the beaches in Sunset Beach and Surfside
