Baseball: OCC loses in bottom of the ninth

SANTA ANA - Host Santa Ana’s baseball team laid down two perfect
bunts in the bottom of the ninth, and the Dons tooke a 5-4 decision fromn
Orange Coast College Tuesday in an Orange Empire Conference game.
After a leadoff walk, Santa Ana had two consecutive bunt singles to load
the bases. A sacrifice fly drove in the winning run.
OCC (16-21, 6-14) had back-to-back homers in the first from Eric Wiethorn
and Jason Reuss. Wiethorn, a product of Corona del Mar High, went 3 for 4
at the plate.
