Pet of the week

Come meet Buster, a 6-month-old Chow mix, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday at PetCo, Newport Boulevard and 18th Street in Costa Mesa.

Saturday is PetCo’s national pet adoption day.

Buster will be joined by two other male dogs -- Sunny, a Husky/Chow, and

Mel, a Heeler mix. All three pets are currently staying at the Newport

Beach Animal Shelter at the Dover Shores Pet Care Center, and their days

are numbered.

The Community Animal Network is a community-supported local animal
