NHBA Mustang: Dodgers hammer Mets, 11-4

NEWPORT BEACH - Stefan Brysha and Peter Kinney each had two hits
and two runs scored to lead the Dodgers over the Mets, 11-4, in Newport Harbor Baseball Association Mustang Division action last weekend.
Cameron Chase and R.J. D’Cruz, who each pitched two shutout innings for
the Dodgers, also and two hits and and two runs apiece.
Marshall Stamper and Bryan Rhodes added to the offense, while Drew
Little, Charlie O’Desky, Eric Hansen and Holden Grey-Keogh led the
Dodgers’ defense.
For the Mets, Austin Carden pitched two strong innings and had two hits
at the plate, while Trey LaGrandeur and Braden Davis also pitched well.
In other Mustang Division action:
Athletics 9, Padres 4 - Parker Conant struck out eight and Brock Schuler
pitched three innings of scoreless relief as the Athletics knocked off
the Padres, 9-4.
Brock Schuler, Jimmy Nelson, Coby Peterson, Derris Douty and Morgan
Maeder sparked the A’s offense with key hits, while Austin Smith, Jason
Hoyt and Josh Caron led the A’s defensively.
Athletics 12, Cardinals 10 - Myles Christian had a home run and three
RBIs for the Cardinals in there 12-10 loss to the Athletics.
Jackson Massingill added a triple and an RBI, while Matt Bissonnette and
Mavrick Medler each had RBI singles for the Cardinals.
