CdM girls explode, 16-0

DANA POINT - Corona del Mar High’s girls water polo team dominated

the waters of Dana Hills High with an unyielding attack en route to a

16-0 nonleague victory Tuesday, keyed by a nine-goal burst in the first

quarter.

Senior Hayley Hapeman and freshman Danielle Carlson each scored four

goals, and Melinda Tucker and Lindsey Daley added two goals apiece.

Goalie Arin Hendrickson had 13 saves en route to posting her shutout.
