LBZ takes the lead

Donald Kohler scored a match-high four goals and handed out a
match-high two assists to lead LBZ to a 6-5 victory over the Vipers in a
showdown for first place in the Atom Club Division in weekend action at
Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
The win gave LBZ sole possession of the division’s top spot at 8-2.
The loss dropped the Vipers into second place at 7-2-1.
Tyler Ruiz scored once with an assist and Paul Anderson scored once to
complete the LBZ attack.
Stephen Nelson and Travis Wear each scored once with an assist and Mark
Miller, Mikey Kinoshita, and Bryce Courtney all scored, with Cristina
Castle collecting an assist for the Vipers, who had a four-game unbeaten
streak snapped.

Hurricanes 10, Stampede 0
Eight of the Hurricanes got into the scoring act at Gregory Williams
scored three goals with one assist, Rocco Grimaldi scored twice with an
assist, Brock Bowden knocked in two scores, Luke Gane scored once with
two assists, Darren Nowick and Cameren Prime each scored once, and Jamie
Schlegel, Jordan Rohr, and Daniel Watt each had an assist as the
Hurricanes improved to 5-3-2.
Predators 10, Breakout Bruisers 5
Daniel Gibson poured in four goals and assisted another score, Adam
Duarte scored three goals, and Chayce Yokoyama scored twice with an
assist to power the Predators (4-4-2); Shane Lakes scored twice and Tyler
Lakes assisted two goals to lead the Breakout Bruisers (3-6-1).
