BUENA PARK - Newport Harbor High’s boys basketball team wrapped up
the Buena Park Coyote Tournament with a pair of wins Friday and Saturday,
putting Sunny Hills and Kennedy away, 55-46 and 52-43, respectively.
Dustin Illingworth, who averaged 19.5 points in the four-game
tournament, and pulled down 20 rebounds in the last two games, was an
all-tourney choice.
The Sailors, who tangle with Edison on Wednesday in nonleague play,
improved to 3-1.
