COSTA MESA
* Buckingham Drive: Two mountain bikes worth $200 each were taken from
a carport area in the 1100 block between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 14 and 8:30
a.m. Wednesday.
* Newport Boulevard: About $20 to $30 was stolen from a cash register
at a business in the 1800 block between 5 and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 11.
* Fillmore Way: A stereo worth $400 was stolen from a car in the 3000
block between Sept. 3 and 7.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Marguerite Avenue: A bowling ball was found underneath a the engine
of a person’s car, allegedly causing the radiator to crack, resulting in
an estimated $501 of damage, in the 600 block between 4 p.m. Friday and 7
a.m. Saturday.
* Edgewater Avenue: A flag worth $200 was stolen from the front of a
business in the 500 block between 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and at 9:30 a.m.
Thursday; six cases of Budweiser beer, three cases of Coors beer and cash
worth $165 were stolen from a boat in the same block between 12:30 and 5
a.m. Saturday.
* Cagney Lane: An antique handmade dresser worth $10,000 was stolen
from a storage area in the 200 block between 3 p.m. Sept. 11 and 9 p.m.
Thursday.
