Sabres beat LBZ...again

The Sabres recorded another perfect 10 for the second time in five
days, this time posting 10 goals in a 10-7 victory over LBZ in a Mite
Club Division contest played Friday at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center
in Huntington Beach.
Adam Springer, who scored five goals and assisted another, led an
active Sabres roster. Also getting into the scoring act were Cody Camrin
with three goals, Russell Gonzalez scored twice with a pair of assists,
Chris Harte had two assists, and both Jeff Hause and Russell Peltier each
added assists.
The Sabres, now on a three-game win streak, improved to 4-3-1
overall.
It was their second win this week over LBZ, which fell, 10-6, on
Friday.

The Surf 7, No Fear 2
David Woods’ three goals and assist led a balanced attack by The
Surf, which remained unbeaten at 5-0-1. Chad Ramsey, Michael Mongelli,
Kevin Lachman, and Ryan Doyle all scored once, and Lachman finished with
two assists, while both Ramsey and Doyle each had one.
Both Taylor Apostol and Steven Siglin each scored for Nor Fear
(3-3-3), which had a five game unbeaten skein snapped.
No Fear 6, Flamebos 4
No Fear resumed its winning ways as Taylor Apostol scored three
goals to go along with two assists, Tanner Marsey scored twice with an
assist, Steven Tomita scored once, and Brock Davis, Derek Huffman, and
Chris Diaz all had an assist for the winners.
Niko Urbano scored twice and Matthew Smith scored a single goal
for the Flamebos, who lost for the third straight time in falling to
2-5-1.
IN ATOM CLUB PLAY:
Breakout Bruisers 9, Vipers 8
With the scoring spread out equally among Ryan Goldwater, Adam
Bosch, Tyler Lakes, and Geoffrey Ozima, and assists posted by both Shane
Lakes and Paul Perez, the Breakout Bruisers (3-4-1) were able to bounce
back from an 8-4 setback to the Vipers just five days ago.
Bryce Courtney scored three goals and had an assist, both Jeffrey
Kurokawa and Stephen Nelson each scored twice, and Rocco Grimaldi scored
once and assisted two other scores to lead the Vipers (7-2).
Courtney posted the same output on Tuesday in the 8-4 win over the
Breakout Bruisers.
