POLICE ARREST BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT
Police arrested a Huntington Beach man Monday in connection with two bank
robberies, Fountain Valley Police Sgt. Jim Perry said in a press release.
Gerald Allan Hennessey, 23, was arrested in the 600 block of Terrace
Circle after Fountain Valley police and the FBI determined that he
matched a description of a robber who wore bandages around his face and
head when he struck Bank of America on Harbor Boulevard on June 14, Perry
said.
Further investigation revealed that the man could be responsible for a
second bank robbery in Santa Ana on June 21.
Hennessey was booked into the Orange County Jail and his bail was set at
$50,000, Perry said.
