Locals split on gun shows at fairgrounds

I don’t see any reason why there shouldn’t be one. They’ve never had any

problem there (“Gun show at fairgrounds to proceed in August,” Aug. 9).

Calling about the gun shows at the fairgrounds. My opinion is that it is

ludicrous that the laws are different for buying firearms and guns at gun

shows compared to buying them in the store. I had no idea they are

getting away with literally murder there.

My opinion is the county fairgrounds should be available to people

wanting to sell guns.

To answer the question: No, I don’t think there should be gun shows at

the fairgrounds.

I know people who want to get [guns] get them one way or another, but we

don’t have to put on shows so they can see the newest models of what is

available. Let them have to search a little, use their feet or whatever

to drive to gun stewards rather than have them come into the fairgrounds.

Besides, we don’t need all the traffic.
