SPECIAL EVENTSSHABBAT DINNER
Temple Bat Yahm plans to hold its monthly Shabbat Dinner Friday. Chicken,
baked potato, salad, challah and wine are on the menu. The evening begins
with appetizers at 6:15 p.m. The cost is $10, $5 for children 10 and

NEW THOUGHT WORKSHOPS
The New Thought Community Church is putting on a series of workshops. The

TEMPLE ISAIAH NEW SEMESTER
The Hebrew/Religious School of Temple Isaiah will begin a new semester

OLD TESTAMENT ARCHAEOLOGY
Newport Mesa Irvine Interfaith Council will hold a program focusing on
Old Testament Archaeology on Sept. 8 at noon at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel

For adults dealing with past sexual abuse, topics include developing safe
relationships, managing anger, overcoming the victim role and healing the

For adults in all stages of loss of a loved one. The group helps

Jewish Family Services will host sessions for adult children who carry

KNOWING GOD INTIMATELY
On Mondays, people of diverse backgrounds and different churches gather
at St. Mark Presbyterian Church to pursue a one-on-one relationship with
