PACIFIC LIFE PROMOTES 3
Newport Beach-based Pacific Life Insurance Co. announced the promotion of
three of its employees this week.
Paul Hikichi, of Costa Mesa, has been promoted to vice president, risk
management. He will be responsible for analyzing the market risk of the
company’s investments. He has a bachelor of science degree in electrical
engineering from the University of Hawaii and an MBA from the University
of Chicago and an MS from Santa Clara University.
Peter Pastre, of Newport Beach, will be responsible for following
legislation at the federal level as assistant vice president, government
relations. He was promoted from government relations director. He has a
bacbhelor’s degree in political science from UCLA.
Stephanie Curry, of Irvine, has been promoted to assistant vice
president. She will be responsible for directing marketing and sales.
Curry has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Rhode
Island.
Pacific Life was founded in 1868. It manages more than $290 billion in
assets.
NEWPORT ATTORNEY MAKES MILLION-DOLLAR FORUM
Newport Beach attorney Brian D. Chase has been certified as a member of
the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the group announced this week.
Membership is limited to trial lawyers who have achieved a verdict or
settlement of at least $1 million. There are about 1,500 members
throughout the United States.
Chase, a graduate of Pepperdine University Law School, specializes in
civil trial practice, including personal injury and medical malpractice.
