At least two residents were displaced by a fire that damaged two units in a Costa Mesa apartment complex Sunday night, according to fire officials.
Costa Mesa firefighters were called to the complex in the 1900 block of Wallace Avenue shortly after 8 p.m., said fire Capt. Chris Coates.
Two units were burning when crews arrived. Firefighters extinguished the blaze within 15 minutes, Coates said.
The American Red Cross responded to provide the displaced residents a place to stay.
Two other units nearby sustained smoke damage.
Fire officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
