Snowland helps Costa Mesa get in the holiday spirit

Though the weather outside wasn’t quite frightful, Costa Mesa residents had the chance to walk in a winter wonderland Saturday during the annual Snowland presented by Torelli Realty.

The show-stopper for this year’s event at the Balearic Community Center was a snow play area where guests of all ages could frolic.

Snowland also offered hay wagon rides, entertainment, cookie decorating, a bounce house and visits from two of the season’s most famous figures — Santa Claus and the Grinch.

Donations of new unwrapped toys were collected for the Spark of Love Toy Drive.
