‘Pirates’ storm the beach at Corona del Mar for 56th sandcastle contest
The 56th annual Corona del Mar Sandcastle Contest drew sand artists to Corona del Mar State Beach on Sunday to build to the theme of “Pirates of the Pacific.â€
Spectators could check out the creations for free.
The event was presented by the Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce.
