Fountain Valley parade celebrates city’s 60th anniversary

Fountain Valley loves a parade.
The city celebrated the 60th anniversary of its incorporation Saturday morning with a short, cheerful jaunt down Heil Avenue to the annual Summerfest carnival at the Fountain Valley Sports Park, where guests can continue to enjoy rides, games and live entertainment through Sunday night.
The sports park is at 16400 Brookhurst St. For more information about the carnival, visit fvsummerfest.com.
