Costa Mesa’s Spring Bark Bash is the cat’s meow for canines

A collection of chic canines turned Costa Mesa’s dog park into their catwalk Saturday during the city’s Spring Bark Bash.

Furry fashionistas also flaunted their stuff during a canine costume contest, with prizes awarded for best in show, the cutest entrant, the best homemade and spring-themed outfits and the best pet and owner pair.

The four-hour event also featured an agility course, local vendors, a silent auction and pet adoption opportunities.
