Don was born on October 12, 1927 in Costa Mesa, California to Glenn and Velma Croft. He was a graduate of Newport Harbor High School, earned an Associate Degree in Petroleum Technology from Orange Coast College, and served in Navy during WWII. Among his interests, Don was a long-time member of the Seal Beach Yacht club, an Anaheim Angels baseball fan, and a dedicated Republican supporter. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, his employees, the community and his cat, Pepper.
Don passed away peacefully in the company of his family in the early afternoon of September 11th. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Croft, on August 11, 1994, and is survived by his brother Jack Croft (wife, Deanne); his children: Sheryl Croft McKenna (husband, John), Thomas Glenn Croft (wife, Mardell), Lorin Croft Pear (husband, Mike); his grandchildren, Alexandra Pear, Max Pear, and Aimee Croft; two step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren: and two great-great-grandchildren.
