Backyard gardeners, and those who aspire to have a green thumb, can choose from more than 2,500 plants for sale starting April 20.
Orange Coast College’s horticulture department hosts its annual spring sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with additional sales happening Fridays through May 4 at the horticulture gardens nursery in the Adams Avenue parking lot between Harbor Boulevard and Fairview Road.
The sale will feature vegetable seedlings, 30 varieties of tomato plants, including heirlooms, bell and chili peppers, squash, cucumbers, basil and 14-inch parsley bowls. There will also be scaevola baskets, geranium baskets and mixed-color baskets.
All proceeds go to the horticulture department. From more information, visit https://www.occhorticulture.com.
