The wet weather that hit Southern California on Thursday and into Friday cleared out later in the day Friday, leaving behind more than an inch of rain at John Wayne Airport.

The airport recorded 1.34 inches in the 48 hours ending at 5:15 p.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service. Readings for individual cities were unavailable.

However, the weather service is forecasting a chance of showers Saturday and Saturday night, with skies clearing Sunday. Daytime temperatures are expected to be in the mid-60s, with nighttime lows in the low to mid-50s.
