With her wide green eyes and alert expression, Gypsy is real charmer.

This petite domestic shorthair cat, who barely weighs 10 pounds, is perfectly healthy and fully grown at 1 year old. A bit shy but clearly affectionate and gentle, Gypsy does not appear to be the wanderer her name suggests.

Other than being cuddled by volunteers, she seems content to hang out in her comfy cat condo, ever attentive to the goings-on in her midst. Gypsy came to the shelter as a stray in April and has watched patiently as many other cats and kittens were adopted. She would like nothing better than to trade up from her temporary quarters to a permanent home of her own.
