FRIDAY: Walk off your Thanksgiving dinner on this slow-paced, 2-mile “Wobble Walk†fitness hike with OC Parks Resource Specialist Laura Cohen from 9 to 11 a.m. Meet at Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, Little Sycamore Canyon Staging Area/Nix Nature Center (west side of Laguna Canyon Road/SR-133, approximately 3.5 miles south of I-5/405). SATURDAY: Enjoy a guided autumn 3-5 mile backcountry hike at 9 a.m. Meet at El Moro Visitor Center (PCH inland at stoplight School-State Park.) $15 day-use parking fee.

Monks at Local Church

The Tibetan monks of Loseling Thukhang Monastery in Southern India will be offering the Lama Chopa Buddhist Tantric Celebration for World Peace at 7 p.m. at the Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 St. Ann’s Drive.

Trade and Barter Fair

Transition Consciousness hosts a community share-in from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Woman’s Club of Laguna Beach, 286 St. Ann’s Drive. Bring your arts and crafts, services, or used or recycled goods for barter or sale. $10 donation for an 8-foot table. Admission to the share-in is $5. ‘Daddy Long Legs’ Opens

The romantic musical “Daddy Long Legs†begins its world premiere run through Dec. 26 at Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road. Previews today through Friday, gala opening Dec. 4. World AIDS Day

Join the Laguna Beach HIV Advisory Committee from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Main Beach Cobblestones to mark World AIDS Day Dec.1 with free HIV testing, an AIDS Quilt Memorial, other medical services, followed by a 5:30 p.m. candlelight vigil at Main Beach for those who have lost their lives to the disease. Yoga for Kids

Fitness Hike

Raise your heart rate and your spirits on this difficult, strenuous and fast-paced, 6-mile hike (700-ft. elevation gain) from 8:30 to 11 a.m. over very steep, uneven terrain with Laguna Canyon Foundation volunteers. For ages 15 and up. Not for beginners. Hiking poles suggested. Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, Ridge Park Staging Area (Newport Coast Drive to Ridge Park Road east to end; meet at the gate.) Art Walk

Join member galleries from 6 to 9 p.m. for a festive cultural evening Dec. 2. Dedicated shuttle service starts at 6:15 p.m. from the Laguna Art Museum and Bluebird Center, 1590 S. Coast Hwy.
