Free concerts at Heisler Park in September
The Laguna Beach Arts Commission will hold free weekly concerts at Heisler Park in September, according to a news release.
The concerts, called Sunset Serenades, will start at 5:30 p.m. every Friday beginning this Friday at the park’s amphitheater.
Musicians of various genres will perform, beginning with the jazz band Jonathan Rowden Group on Friday followed by Americana singer and songwriter Michael Ubaldini on Sept. 11, the South Coast Symphony String Quartet on Sept. 18 and the Pendleton Sisters on Sept. 25.
The program is funded by the lodging establishments and the city. It was recently named the Best Arts Program by the Laguna Beach Alliance for the Arts.
