Is it high time for the feds to legalize weed?

California legalized medical weed 25 years ago, prompting a nationwide shift. Since then, 20 states have legalized medical cannabis, and 36 states have legalized recreational use of marijuana. But federal government rules have held back research on marijuana’s potential to treat many ailments.
